VIDEO: UK Election Debate Disrupted During Putin Remarks

The televised debate for the position of Prime Minister in the UK was interrupted due to noise in the studio. When Foreign Secretary Liz Truss began to respond to a question about Russia, a commotion was heard in the studio.

“If he (Russian President Vladimir Putin) is successful in Ukraine, he will not stop there. He will challenge freedom and democracy,” the Foreign Secretary remarked just before her speech was interrupted.

Truss then exclaimed, “My God,” after which the broadcast was halted.
