Mother and Son Become Innocent Victims of Gunfire in Aragatsotn Province

Recently, shamshyan.com reported that gunshots were heard in Aragatsotn Province on July 26. Around 02:40, a call was received at the police station in Ashtarak from the "Ashtarak" medical center stating that a woman and two men had been transferred with "superficial, multiple puncture wounds to the lower extremities."

It was later revealed that around 02:00, a dispute occurred between 26-year-old Tigran Sargsyan, a resident of the village of Ghazaravan, and 28-year-old Gurgen Movsisyan, a resident of Ashtarak city. During this altercation, G. Movsisyan fired at T. Sargsyan with a 16 mm caliber firearm owned by a relative, and then pursued him, firing again in the dead-end of the 1st street in Ghazaravan village. As a result, Varduhi, Gor, and Gnel Hakobyan sustained various degrees of gunshot wounds.

ArmLur.am has learned that the injured individuals are a mother and son who had no connection to the incident. The thing is, Varduhi, Gor, and Gnel Hakobyan were standing in that street when the argument escalated and the shots were fired, thus becoming victims of the dispute between others. Currently, law enforcement is searching for the shooter.
