How Many Times Should Such a Statement Come from Ankara for the Political Elite to Understand?

Political scientist Suren Surenyants has commented on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's statement. Erdoğan emphasized that Azerbaijan has been a red line for Turkey from the very beginning, and that Ankara will only open its borders with Armenia after resolving issues with Azerbaijan.

“How many times should such a statement come from Ankara for our political elite to understand that Armenian-Turkish and Armenian-Azerbaijani relations are interconnected and cannot be otherwise?” wrote the political scientist.
