VIDEO: The New Corridor of Artsakh - Why Turks and Azerbaijanis Are in Armenian Villages Without Peacekeepers
Journalist Tatul Hakobyan has released a video regarding the new corridor connecting Armenia to Artsakh. "Artsakh, Shushi's Berdadzor sub-region, July 25, 2022. Azerbaijanis and a Turkish company are completing construction on a section of the Old Shen-Mets Shen road in the Berdadzor sub-region of Shushi, which is part of the new corridor connecting Armenia to Artsakh. Turkish and Azerbaijani machinery, along with construction workers, engineers, and drivers, are working in two Armenian villages without the presence of Russian peacekeepers. I knew about this, it felt a bit strange, but we saw it ourselves: This happened because the Russian peacekeeping forces were unable to provide a sufficient number of escorts and agreed with the Armenian side that they would work here," the journalist commented on his video, promising to provide more details later.
