Passenger Minibus Crashes into KamAZ Near Ufa, 6 Dead

A major traffic accident occurred near the city of Ufa, Russia, involving a minibus carrying passengers that crashed into a KamAZ truck.

As a result of the accident, which took place on the Bashkirian highway, 6 passengers died at the scene, while 15 others were injured. The total number of passengers exceeded 20.

The head of the Republic of Bashkortostan provided details on how the incident happened: “It was a dry summer day, there was no rain. The bus was manufactured in 2020, and the driver was experienced. The four-lane road was open. The driver collided with a KamAZ truck moving slowly ahead, where workers were conducting road maintenance,” commented Radiy Khabirov.

Marat Yusupov, the head of the local administration, added that the minibus’s recording devices have been handed over to the traffic police for examination. All of the deceased were residents of the Blagovarsky district.
