VIDEO: Woman Dies in Sochi After Car is Swept Away by Floodwaters

A woman has died as a result of flooding caused by heavy rain in Sochi, as reported by Izvestia citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The incident occurred on Donskaya Street. It is believed that the victim's car was swept away by the floodwaters, and although she attempted to escape, she was unable to survive.

As a reminder, torrential rains in Sochi have flooded substation areas, roads, and residential building yards.
