US Diplomats Run from House to House, Pleading Not to Be Photographed with Lavrov: Zakharova

Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, wrote:

“Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is currently in Cairo and will hold talks with the Egyptian leadership tomorrow. During this friendly visit, the Russian Foreign Minister begins his tour of African countries. Meanwhile, American diplomats are running around in various countries, pleading not to be photographed with Lavrov, so that these pictures are not used by Russia as evidence of the absence of isolation. American 'partners' don’t even imagine that for these purposes we use not photos, but rather their own foolishness, pessimism, and the complete absence of a sense of reality among high-ranking representatives of the United States.
