Fire Breaks Out from Car Collision, BMW Reduced to Ashes; Several Injured
Today, on July 24, a major car accident and fire occurred in the Armavir region. According to shamshyan.com, at around 02:20, a call was received at the 911 operational management center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, reporting that cars had collided near the bus station in Armavir, one of which had caught fire.
It was determined that vehicles driven by 30-year-old Arman Hakhnazaryan (Volkswagen) and 20-year-old Armen Edigaryan (BMW) had collided near 15/9 Yerevan Street. Following the collision, a fire broke out in the BMW. While waiting for firefighters to arrive, bystanders attempted to extinguish the flames themselves. Upon arrival, firefighters managed to put out the fire, but the vehicle was rendered inoperable.
As a result of the accident, both drivers were transported to the Armavir Medical Center, where after receiving first aid, they were transferred to Yerevan for further examination at a specialized hospital.
