24-year-old driver veered off the roadway and rolled over

On July 24, an accident occurred in the Tavush region. Around 00:50, 24-year-old Hayk Harutyunyan, driving a VAZ 2121 car, veered off the roadway and rolled over near the "Getap" restaurant complex in the administrative area of Dilijan on the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway.

According to Gagik Shamshyan, one of the injured was first assisted by employees of the "Getap" restaurant and citizens, who were then transported to the "Dilijan" Medical Center. After that, the arriving Dilijan rescuers managed to pull 26-year-old Sevak Ananyan out of the car with the help of citizens and transported him by stretcher to the ambulance of the Dilijan hospital.

Subsequently, the rescuers disconnected the vehicle's battery, closed the gas cylinder valve, and secured the area. The traffic police and investigative team arrived on the scene promptly. An investigation has been launched into the accident by the investigative department.
