VIDEO: Chess Robot Breaks Opponent's Finger in Moscow

A bizarre incident occurred at a chess tournament held in Moscow, where a chess robot injured the finger of one of the young players. This was reported to RIA Novosti by Sergey Smagin, vice-president of the Moscow Chess Federation.

He noted that the chess player did not suffer serious injury and participated in the award ceremony after the incident. “There are safety rules that the child likely violated while being excited. When making a move, he did not notice that he needed to wait. The creator of the robot is a talented inventor. It is probably necessary to implement an additional safety system,” Smagin emphasized.
