Major Car Accident in Gegharkunik: Several Injured, Including Five Children Aged 3 Months to 2 Years

Today, July 22, a car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 5:00 PM, 30-year-old Arthur Manukyan from Shirak province lost control of his Opel vehicle on the Sevan-Martuni-Getap highway at the 20 km mark, veering off the road and crashing into trees on the roadside, breaking several of them.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, passengers including 1-year-old Suren M., 22-year-old Seda S., 1-year-old Angelina M., 2-year-old Alen M., 25-year-old Zhora M., 2-year-old Emil N., 21-year-old Anna K., and 3-month-old Anushik N. were taken to the 'Gavar' Medical Center with injuries.

Citizens were the first to provide aid to the injured, and the on-duty medical team from Gavar hospital promptly assisted, administering first aid on the scene before transporting the victims to the hospital.
