Ukraine May Disappear from the World Map, Medvedev Says
Ukraine as a state may «disappear from the world map» as a result of current events, according to Dmitry Medvedev, the Deputy Chairman of Russia's Security Council, who expressed this opinion on his Telegram channel on Thursday.
“After the 2014 coup, Ukraine lost its state independence and came under the direct control of the collective West, believing that NATO would ensure its security. Ultimately, due to everything that is happening, Ukraine may lose the remnants of its state sovereignty and disappear from the world map,” Medvedev stated.
He also expressed confidence that “Ukrainian criminals will certainly be held accountable for the atrocities committed against the peoples of Ukraine and Russia.”
