Spitak's Hayko Performed for Nikol Pashinyan and the CPP Members
The "Zhoghovurd" newspaper reports that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan recently organized a pre-vacation gathering-party at the governmental residence for the members of parliament. According to the newspaper, in addition to CPP MPs, guests included President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan, Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan, and Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan.
The attendees did not discuss political or state-related issues but rather talked about the one-year activities of the 8th Convocation of Parliament, summarizing the year, and presenting who plans to propose what when legislative work resumes in September.
The newspaper learned that there were no designated toasters for the evening, with Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan raising a toast a couple of times, while others engaged in a more casual entertainment style—some enjoyed coffee and tea, others took part in a "kebab-style" gathering, while some engaged in "backgammon" conversations with one another.
Furthermore, it was conveyed to us that the evening proceeded with a musical atmosphere, featuring several musical groups performing for the officials, including Spitak's Hayko, who, notably, has a son actively involved in the "Resistance" movement protests.
