Paper Zero Certificate No Longer Required, Deputy Mayor Says

Paper zero certificates will no longer be required. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Suren Grigoryan, on his Facebook page.

“On March 10 of this year, I reported that starting from April 1, 2022, the requirement to submit paper zero certificates regarding obligations for vehicle sales as well as for the process of vehicle depreciation will be abolished. This has been implemented.

I am pleased to inform you that starting from July 4 of this year, the same regulations have begun to apply to the real estate sales process as well. Citizens will no longer be required to submit paper zero certificates when signing transactions at the notary or in the Cadastre. Instead, the data will be accessible electronically. In the past week, 2,033 requests have been processed electronically.

I would like to thank our partners from the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the State Committee of the Cadastre of the Republic of Armenia, VX Soft, and Best Soft for their work,” he wrote.
