Video: Boy Brutally Beats Girlfriend While Bystanders Ignore Her in Russia

Footage has circulated on the internet showing a boy beating his girlfriend in the entrance of a building in Megion, Russia (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug). Russian news outlets report that the cause of the argument is unknown.

Notably, while he mocked his victim, neighbors passed by without reacting in any way. The girl was eventually rescued by her mother, who intervened at that moment to save her from her inadequate boyfriend. The victim has been diagnosed with a closed traumatic brain injury and bruises on soft tissues. Police have launched an investigation.
