Video: A 61-Year-Old Man Stabbed 49-Year-Old G. Khachatryan in Davitashen

On July 15, at 14:15, the Mashots Police Department received a report about a man lying on the ground near the park in the 2nd district of Davitashen. A woman saw him in that condition and called 1-02. Bystanders also reported the incident to 1-03.

The emergency medical team arrived and transported the man to the "Armenia" medical center. He was diagnosed with "chest stabbing wounds." Shortly after being hospitalized, the 49-year-old man died.

Operational teams from the Mashots Police Department and the Davitashen division, along with forensic experts, investigators, and prosecutors, were sent to the scene. The area was inspected, and blood-like traces, a whiskey glass, a pastry, glasses, and other items were found.

As a result of operational-search measures and investigative actions, it was determined that the deceased lived in Davitashen. It also became known that there had been a dispute regarding household issues between him and one of his neighbors, during which the 61-year-old man stabbed 49-year-old Gagik Khachatryan.

The 61-year-old man was located, arrested, and presented to the territorial investigative body. A criminal case has been initiated on the basis of murder. The circumstances are being clarified during the preliminary investigation.
