VIDEO: What Did Ararat Mirzoyan and Irakli Garibashvili Discuss?

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, met with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, during a working visit to Georgia.

During the meeting, the central topic of discussion was the upcoming meeting later in Tbilisi between Ararat Mirzoyan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jayhun Bayramov.

Garibashvili emphasized the importance of having a positive dialogue, as reported by the press service of the Government of Georgia.

The sides also addressed Armenian-Georgian bilateral relations and prospects for future cooperation, particularly in the fields of economy and bilateral trade.

The situation in the South Caucasus was also discussed. Regarding the prevailing situation in the region, the heads of the two delegations noted that it is important to make joint efforts to face the challenges, emphasizing the necessity of having a peaceful region.
