Accident Involving 3 Cars on the Jruverw-Abovyan Highway

A tragic accident occurred today in the afternoon on the Jruverw-Abovyan highway near the "Tsirani" restaurant. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the call was received at 15:29. Rescuers arriving at the scene discovered that a "Mercedes-Benz E220," a "Mercedes-Benz C180," and a "Hyundai Sonata" were involved in the collision.

The driver of the "Mercedes-Benz C180" died at the scene, while the passenger was hospitalized at the Abovyan city hospital.

According to shamshyan.com, a photojournalist reported that preliminary information suggests the Hyundai Sonata, while heading towards Jruverw, initially collided with the Mercedes C-180, then veered into the oncoming lane, crashing into the Mercedes E-220. The Sonata subsequently struck two individuals and ended up near a stone fence of a building. One of the injured individuals died at the scene, while another was taken to the hospital.

The police and the investigative department are working to identify the drivers, the deceased, and the injured party.
