Yasha Solomonian, the founder of the Armenian Travelers Club, wrote on his Facebook page:

“It’s simply horrifying. I can’t find words to express the pain and disgust I feel about the reality we live in. Setting aside my personal negative feelings towards the character of Armen Grigoryan and the citizen, I still believe that a person in Armenia should not die in court, and a person with health issues should not be held in detention unless there are very valid, urgent reasons for it. My condolences to Armen's family. The police officers in the courtroom only fanned the person who had fallen ill and gave him papers. Seriously, is it normal that a police officer does not know the basic rules of first aid?”
