No Longer a Deputy: Alen Simonyan Signed

The record regarding the termination of the deputy powers of Arthur Ghazinyan, a member of the "Armenia" faction and Chairman of the National Assembly, has been published on the National Assembly’s website.

"Based on the application for resignation submitted by the deputy and guided by the provisions of Article 154, Part 1, Clause 6, and Article 155, Part 2, Clause 2 of the Constitutional Law on the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly, to declare the deputy powers of Arthur Ghazinyan, elected through the national electoral list of the "Armenia" coalition, as terminated," the document states.

It is reminded that Ghazinyan announced his intention to resign from the deputy mandate on July 4. He noted that he considers this to be the most correct and justified decision given the current situation.
