Entry of Murad Papazyan to Armenia is banned, while a close associate of the 'Gray Wolves' is allowed. Postanjyan sends inquiry to the NSS

The president of the 'Yerkir Tsirani' party and lawyer Zaruhi Postanjyan has sent an inquiry regarding the entry bans.

"Dear Mr. Abazyan,
On July 14, Murad Papazyan, the president of the council coordinating Armenian companies in France, landed at 'Zvartnots' airport. After landing, airport staff moved Murad Papazyan to a separate room and informed him that his entry to Armenia was prohibited, citing that he is considered an undesirable person in Armenia.

We would like to inform you that in March 2021, Samson Ozararat, who is close (if not a member) to the Turkish 'Gray Wolves' terrorist organization, arrived in Armenia. He is regarded not only as undesirable but also as a dangerous individual for Armenia. Recently, Samson Ozararat also met with Anna Hakobyan, the wife of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in Nice, France.

Based on the above and guided by Articles 6 and 9 of the RA Law on Freedom of Information, we request information on the following:
1. Why is Murad Papazyan considered an undesirable person for Armenia?
2. Why has entry to Armenia not been banned for Samson Ozararat, who is associated with the Turkish 'Gray Wolves' terrorist organization, and is Samson Ozararat considered a desirable person for Armenia?" Postanjyan wrote.
