Video: The Agonizing Cries of Monkeys Heard Outside the Store, Naira Zohrabyan Sounds the Alarm

Former MP Naira Zohrabyan informs on her Facebook page: “This vandalism is happening in what is supposed to be a pet shop adjacent to the Artashat tax inspection. In 40-degree heat, the shop owner has locked the monkeys inside a cupboard; this is not a cage, it’s an ordinary cupboard with a few holes on the sides to allow the animals to breathe. I was just alerted that the agonizing cries of the monkeys can be heard even outside the store.

When customers told the seller that this is sadism and that such treatment is unacceptable, the seller responded that he had already informed the shop owner multiple times, to which the owner replied, ‘Everything is okay.’ Now I say that everything is not okay, and I call on the police to immediately intervene to stop this vandalism. The monkeys must be transferred to a zoo; there is no other solution.”
