Attention: Avoid Direct Sunlight During Specified Hours
The territory of the Republic continues to be under the influence of tropical warm air currents from the Arabian Peninsula, resulting in temperatures reaching +39 to +42 degrees Celsius in the Ararat Plain, the foothills of Aragatsotn and Vayots Dzor, and in Yerevan during the daytime from July 14-19.
There is also an increased risk of high-level fire hazards expected in the valley and foothill areas of the Republic. The intensity of ultraviolet radiation is anticipated to be higher than normal. It is recommended to avoid direct sunlight from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Throughout the Republic, dry weather is expected during the daytime on July 14 and from July 15-19. The wind will be southeast at 2-5 m/s. In Armavir, as well as in the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, wind gusts are expected to increase in the evening to 15-18 m/s.
The temperature will rise by 2-4 degrees from July 16-17.
In Yerevan, dry weather is expected during the daytime on July 14 and from July 15-19. Wind gusts in the evening are forecasted to reach 10-12 m/s.
