‘Have You Noticed How Calmly We’ve Started to Relate to Such News?’: MP

Former MP Artur Ghazinyan wrote on his Facebook page: ‘We have again a casualty at the border. 19-year-old Arsen Manukyan has suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Have you noticed how calmly we’ve started to relate to such news? We do not feel much burden, we do not make noise, we do not demand punishment and responsibility anymore. Previously, any such incident would shake the society; people would feel sorrow and express condolences to the relatives of the deceased.

There were also noisy various ‘human rights defender’ groups, which were paid to propagate against the army and criticize the former authorities for each such tragic incident. Now, there is no need for that; a soldier’s life has the value of a penny; the ‘human rights defenders’ are now in power, holding state positions, solving serious issues—they do not have time to deal with such ‘details,’ and they do not want to criticize themselves, as now they are the ones making money.

In short, the country has turned into a planet of monkeys where hypocritical behavior, immorality, and deceit have become the norm of public behavior. P.S. I express my condolences to the family and relatives of young soldier Arsen.’
