Large Fire in Kapan: One Injured

On July 13, at 10:25 AM, the Syunik regional crisis management center received a notification about a fire breaking out in one of the houses on Minas Papyan Street in Kapan city.

Three firefighting units from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. The fire was contained by 11:26 AM and extinguished by 12:20 PM.

At the address 10a Minas Papyan Street, two wooden cabins (25 sqm and 15 sqm) were burned. The spread of the fire to nearby structures was prevented.

Citizen E. G. was hospitalized at Kapan city hospital with burn injuries of varying degrees, where doctors assessed his condition as stable but serious.
