Only Europeans Believe Aliyev's Statements: Harsh Commentary from the Deputy Editor of 'Le Figaro'

Jean-Christophe Buisson, deputy editor of the French magazine 'Le Figaro', commented on the tension at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, stating: 'Another exchange of fire occurred last night between Armenian and Azerbaijani soldiers at the border between Nakhchivan and Armenia. Azerbaijan's pressure on Armenians does not diminish, despite Aliyev's grand 'pacifist' statements, which only Europeans blissfully believe.'

It should be noted that today, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia issued a statement saying: 'The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has once again spread misinformation, claiming that on the evening of July 11, the units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia opened fire on Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. Moreover, during the same time period, it was the Azerbaijani armed forces that opened fire with various weapons, including large-caliber firearms, towards Armenian combat positions located in the western part of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. The Azerbaijani firing was silenced by the response actions of the Armenian side.'
