Will Firearms Be Banned in the USA?
The Biden administration will continue to strive for stricter gun control and a ban on firearms sales in the United States. President Joe Biden announced this on Monday. According to TASS, he stated, "Guns must be banned. ...I intend to ban these weapons—high-capacity magazines that hold 30 rounds," while discussing legislation aimed at tightening control over firearms in the country over the past 30 years.
"I will not stop until we reach this ban," the state leader added. According to him, over the past two decades, more schoolchildren have died from gun use in the USA than all American police officers and soldiers combined.
"In the United States, the number one cause of death for children is firearms. Let me repeat this. Guns are the number one cause of death for children in the United States, ahead of car accidents and cancer...,” said the White House leader. "We can no longer allow this to happen," he added.
