On July 9, at around 10 AM, a report was received by the Hrazdan police department from the "Hrazdan" medical center. They informed that a 51-year-old man from Yerevan was transported there in a deceased state.
In addition to other injuries, the body had numerous marks resembling bee stings. It was revealed that half an hour prior to the report, the deceased had been in a field near Hrazdan where bee hives were located. It also turned out that the victim was transported to the hospital by his 36-year-old cousin, who was the beekeeper.
According to preliminary data, at around 9:40 AM, the beekeeper noticed that bees were attacking his uncle's son. Distracting the bees towards himself, he managed to move approximately 200 meters away. He then approached his cousin with his "GAZ-24" vehicle. During this time, he accidentally reversed the vehicle and hit his cousin, who was lying on the ground.
He immediately transported him to the hospital, but it became clear that it was too late.
The 36-year-old man has been presented to the Kotayk regional investigative department. The circumstances are being clarified during the preliminary investigation.
