Video: Received Money from Azerbaijan; Information Transferred by Armenian State Traitor Revealed

The National Security Service of Armenia's counterintelligence department has revealed that a citizen of Armenia, who was a soldier, had access to information classified as state and official secrets due to his military service. This was reported by the NSS of Armenia.

Under the described circumstances, he made contact with a representative of a foreign intelligence service via the social network "ok.ru," was recruited by them, and subsequently provided state and military secrets through correspondence. This information included the designation of his military unit, the types of units included in it, the location of the combat positions under the protection of his unit, details regarding the equipment of combat positions, and other information related to combat duty, as well as individuals' personal and service data of the unit's command staff. He also photographed and sent images of the unit's buildings, combat positions, the unit's roll book, the fire card of the combat position, and the military booklet, thereby committing acts of treason against Armenia's territorial integrity and external security while receiving payments through bank transfers in return.

A criminal case has been initiated by the investigative department of the NSS of Armenia regarding the act of treason. The individual in question has been arrested and confessed, after which, based on evidentiary documents, charges were formally presented to him by the prosecutor's office, and he was placed in custody as a preventive measure.

The National Security Service of Armenia once again urges military personnel to refrain from establishing relationships with suspicious individuals through social networks or other means, as well as to avoid discussing issues related to national security and defense or transferring information to such individuals.

Note: The suspect or accused in the alleged crime is considered innocent until proven guilty in accordance with the procedures established by the Criminal Procedure Code of Armenia and the ruling of the court that has entered into legal force.
