There is a Hill Near Yerevan that Has Already Been Decapitated Unlike Hatis: Usnunts
Yesterday, the construction of a statue of Jesus began on the Hatis Mountain, which is expected to last for about three years. Paying close attention to the recent public discussions surrounding the statue of Christ, citizens have been making various observations.
The head of Skill - Event Marketing Company, Sergey Usnunts, wrote on his Facebook page:
“There is a hill (mountain) near Yerevan. Unlike Hatis, it has already been decapitated. Clay is being extracted there outdoors, or sand is being mined. The wind brings hundreds of tons of dust in the form of sand to Yerevan. We and our children are breathing this in. Thousands of Yerevan residents, including those who are now making serious or sarcastic remarks about the nonexistent statue of Christ, pass by this scene. Officials, prosecutors, politicians, IT industry people, bakers, and locksmiths all pass by. Is there any idea as to why there is no public discussion? What is wrong?”
