This was a thought-provoking sign, undeniably, it had its proponents, it was printed, it was authorized, it was installed. This was stated by Lilit Sargsyan, an employee of the Tavush Regional Administration, on her Facebook page, sharing a photo of the alcohol advertisement billboard.

“Now the question is, among all these people, has there been anyone who questions this obvious absurdity? I think the author of this idea should even be put on trial,” Sargsyan wrote.

It is worth noting that the billboard features the famous words of Bernard Shaw: “Alcohol is an anesthetic that enables us to pass through the operation of life with ease.”
