Next Municipal Council Member Elections Scheduled for September 25

The governor of Vayots Dzor, Ararat Grigoryan, has signed a decree regarding the conduct of elections in two communities. The decision states:

“The regular elections of community councils in the Areni and Yeghegis communities of Vayots Dzor Province of the Republic of Armenia are scheduled for September 25, 2022, under a proportional electoral system. The deadlines for the newly elected council to assume their duties are set for November 14, 2022.”
