General Fired After Leaving Sarcastic Comment on Biden's Post

Former General Gary Voleskin has been dismissed after leaving a sarcastic comment on a post by First Lady Jill Biden on Twitter, Axios reports.

According to the publication, Jill Biden criticized the U.S. Supreme Court's decision, which stripped women of constitutional guarantees of the right to abortion. In response, Voleskin commented, “I’m glad you finally understand what a woman is.”

The general's authorization has been suspended pending the completion of an ongoing investigation.

Voleskin has been cooperating with the U.S. Army as a “senior mentor,” consulting for a fee of $92 per hour.
