VIDEO: FlyOne Armenia Flight Canceled by Commander’s Decision - What Issues Did the Aircraft Face?

FlyOne Armenia's Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan flight was canceled yesterday. Former Yerevan council member Grigor Yeritsyan wrote on his Facebook page: "The aircraft, loaded with over 100 passengers, was unable to take off due to technical reasons. After the unsuccessful attempt to take off, we disembarked the plane and were left without information for 3 hours. Passengers are afraid to board the same aircraft again; there is no representative of the company on-site, and no alternative flights or compensation have been offered," Yeritsyan stated.

Later, the incident was addressed in a Facebook live stream by the Chairman of the airline's board, Aram Ananyan, who clarified that the flight was canceled by the decision of the aircraft's commander. "The aircraft commander, noticing certain discrepancies in the aircraft's gauge data, decided to abort the flight. We believe this is a correct and justified decision. The Armenian aviation authorities have been informed of the situation, and the flight will take place several hours later; all our passengers will reach their intended destinations," Ananyan said.

Auroranews attempted to contact the airline to understand the specific issues the aircraft faced and what response passengers received, but our calls remain unanswered at this time.
