How Many Casualties and Injuries Does Russia Have? Podolyak Publishes Numbers and Mocks Putin
Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to the head of the Ukrainian President's Office, commented on Vladimir Putin's statement that Russia has not yet seriously begun fighting in Ukraine.
According to Podolyak, Russian casualties on the battlefield currently amount to approximately 37,000 dead and between 98,000 and 117,000 injured. “10 generals have been eliminated, 1,605 tanks and 405 aircraft/helicopters have been turned into scrap metal. Has Russia not really started the fight yet? Is it only Stalinist mathematics that counts as war in the Kremlin with 20 million losses?” he wrote on Twitter.
