Armenian Construction Worker Dies in Moscow Region
In the "Sunny Beach" cottage village of the Ramensky district in the Moscow region, an Armenian citizen died as a result of a collapse of concrete slabs during construction. Medical personnel were unable to provide assistance in time as they had to wait for rescuers, according to MK.
According to the source, on July 7, around 18:30, two construction workers were working in a two-story house. Only the walls and concrete slabs had been constructed by that time. Both workers were on the first floor when the ceiling unexpectedly collapsed. A concrete slab fell on 45-year-old Armen (name changed), while his colleague managed to jump back in time. Witnesses immediately called for an ambulance.
Doctors arrived quickly, but it was not possible to save the victim. When the Emergency Situations Ministry personnel entered and lifted the slab, they found the man dead. Heavy rainfall could be a reason for the collapse. An investigation is being conducted by the main investigative department of the investigative committee of the Moscow region regarding the man's death.
