Samvel Babayan and his team stage demarches against the authorities

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that former Secretary of the Security Council of Artsakh, Samvel Babayan, and his team have recently been staging demarches against the authorities. They have been joining the opposition in certain initiatives, trying to extract concessions from Araik Harutyunyan.

Our sources in Artsakh say that Babayan has managed to achieve some progress. An agreement has been reached with the state regarding participation in the public housing construction program. He is attempting to secure loans under privileged conditions to build apartments, which he plans to sell back to the state later, aiming to provide housing for homeless residents of Artsakh.

Specific areas have even been mentioned: one near the Zagsi building, close to the statue of the "Grandfather and Grandmother" in Stepanakert, and the other is an unfinished building associated with his long-time friend, "Tsekhavik" Edo, located in the central part of Stepanakert.
