Footprint Noticed and Smell Detected: Mangled Body Discovered

On July 6, at 16:55, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report from a resident of the village of Kourtan in the Lori region, who noticed a footprint heading down the slope and also detected the smell of a corpse.

A dispatched operational group subsequently discovered a mangled male body in a gorge near the village of Kourtan in the Lori region. A forensic examination has been scheduled.

It was determined that the body belongs to Vazgen Davtyan, born in 1933, who had been reported missing by the Stepanavan police since June 23.
