‘Left an impression of a ‘soft pillow’: Father of fallen soldier on official

We have gathered to understand what has been decided, whether our case has been sent to the NSS or not. This was stated by the father of a fallen soldier during a conversation with journalists in front of the Prosecutor's Office.

“It has been over a month since our case has been with the Investigative Committee, and there has been no movement. During the last meeting, Argishti Kyaramyan left us with the impression of a ‘soft pillow’; moreover, he left us with the impression of being a ‘soft pillow’. That is why we do not want our case to be investigated by the Investigative Committee. Let it be transferred to the NSS, after all, that structure serves the homeland. Were our children excess that they were traitorously taken and slaughtered? It is clear who the traitorous Turk is, with his infamous statement, and today there is nothing. If I had known that my son fought and died for the homeland, I would have understood and remained silent, but I know that my son was betrayed and struck from behind; remaining silent is pointless,” said the parent of one of the fallen soldiers.

The parents noted that the Prosecutor's Office is aware of their rally and will soon inform them about the format in which they will meet with them.

It should be noted that relatives of soldiers who died in the 44-day war are conducting a protest rally in front of the Prosecutor's Office. Their demand is for the Prosecutor's Office to transfer the case initiated under the second part of Article 308 (abuse of official authority, which has caused serious consequences) to the NSS.

Recall that on June 30, the relatives of the fallen soldiers met with Chief Prosecutor Arthur Davisyan to present their demands. They also demand that the case be investigated under the straightforward charge of state treason under Article 299, and that Nikol Pashinyan be summoned for questioning and included in the case as a defendant.
