VIDEO: Major Fire in Kazakhstan, Several Injured

Seven people were injured as a result of a fire near Lake Alakol in Kazakhstan. Russian media report on this incident.

The fire destroyed four recreation centers, covering an area of 3,000 square meters.

"It was extremely challenging to extinguish the uncontrollable fire, as strong winds interfered, causing the flames to 'jump' from house to house. Firefighters managed to contain the blaze only in the early morning hours. Seven individuals sought medical assistance, but after examinations and first aid, they did not require hospitalization," stated the message from the East Kazakhstan Emergency Situations Department.
