Video: Individual Enters 18+ Website, Fake Police Message Appears on Screen: New Scam Method

Recently, cases of money theft using a new mechanism have been reported. This was announced by the Police.

Many reports have been received at the police regarding this method of stealing money. The criminal scheme is as follows: an individual enters what is called an 18+ website, and after some time, a message supposedly sent by the police appears on the screen. The message refers to a certain article of the law, stating that the individual has been fined 10,000 drams. A bank account number is also provided, and the individual is coerced into transferring that amount.

The police are taking appropriate measures to uncover such cases, but it is important to be informed to avoid becoming a victim of similar crimes.
