«This Statement by Aliyev Acknowledges that Artsakh is Armenia» - Edgar Ghazaryan
Aliyev acknowledges, in his subconscious, that Artsakh is Armenia, said Edgar Ghazaryan, former Armenian ambassador to Poland, during a broadcast on ‘Fastinfo’.
“Aliyev claims that the western regions of Azerbaijan, through the Syunik province and Zangezur, should have a corridor similar to the one Armenia has with Nagorno-Karabakh. This means that he subconsciously recognizes that Artsakh is Armenia, as Nakhchivan has autonomous status within Azerbaijan. If we had at least one active, thinking diplomat, we could reference this thesis of Aliyev’s and conclude that he recognized the Republic of Artsakh as an autonomous entity within Armenia, for which Armenia should have a corridor with Artsakh, just as Nakhchivan has with its autonomous status within Azerbaijan,” Ghazaryan stated.
