VIDEO: British Drivers Block Highway and Play Football in the Middle of the Street
British drivers protesting against high fuel prices have decided to combine business with pleasure, playing football right in the middle of closed highways.
Mass protests by drivers are taking place across Great Britain. Furious motorists are outraged by the rising cost of fuel. Protesters have brought traffic on major highways to a standstill, blocking the M4 highway that connects London with South-West Wales.
Angry drivers threaten that protests will continue for 12 hours, with further demonstrations expected in northern and South-Eastern England, specifically in Yorkshire and Essex.
Currently, the average price of petrol in Great Britain stands at around £1.91 ($2.31) per litre. The cost of diesel has also risen sharply, reaching £1.99 ($2.41) per litre.
