Turkish Company Sues Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense
Turkish textile company has filed a debt claim against Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense in a Istanbul court. Turkish media outlets report this information.
The company claims it has not received $157,000 from the Ministry of Defense for fabric supplied since 2017, according to a contract signed in 2015. The Turkish company has been providing military uniform fabric to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense, but payment for the goods sold has not been made.
After negotiations to resolve the debt failed, the Turkish company turned to the court. The court hearing has been postponed until mid-November of the current year because the Azerbaijani side did not present its position regarding the plaintiff's demands.
