Tractor Overturns and Rolls About 50 Meters into a Gorge

On July 4, at 12:17 PM, the Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center received a report that a tractor had fallen into a gorge in the village of Nerkin Karmiraghbyur; a citizen is trapped. The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reported this.

A team from the fire and rescue unit of the MES's regional rescue department and an operational group from the Special Objects Protection Fire and Rescue Unit of the Civil Defense Department were dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that the tractor had overturned and rolled about 50 meters into the gorge. The driver, H. V. (born in 1957), was trapped in the tractor's cabin. Rescuers extricated the driver and brought him to an ambulance. The injured person was hospitalized at Berd Medical Center and later transferred to Yerevan's “Nairi” Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as critical.
