Poland Has Learned to Take European Money and Use It to Give More, Says Kuleba

Ukraine will require substantial amounts of subsidies from the European Union upon its accession, following Poland's example. This was stated by Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with LB.ua. The information is reported by RIA Novosti.

“This is a logic that makes sense from the perspective of the Ukrainian consumer: Europe, money... Poland has learned to take European money and use it in a way that gives them more,” Kuleba said.

According to him, such behavior is precisely what Kyiv needs to learn for the future. “You look at what kind of support you would receive from the EU, and we are so large, and we will ask for so much,” he concluded.

Earlier, Oleg Ustenko, an advisor on economic issues to President Volodymyr Zelensky, revealed that Ukraine would require around one trillion dollars for the restoration of its economy and infrastructure.

Meanwhile, the president himself had mentioned a figure of 600 billion dollars.
