Man Injures 8-Year-Old Boy Playing Outside with Hunting Rifle

On July 2, a report was received from the hospital indicating that an 8-year-old boy had been admitted with "multiple gunshot injuries". Officers from the Kotayk police department have determined that in the village of Jrvaz, a 51-year-old man, while carelessly handling his hunting rifle, discharged a round, injuring the neighboring boy who was playing outside.

The 51-year-old man has presented the hunting rifle to the authorities. The circumstances of the incident are currently being clarified, and an investigation is underway.
