Accident on Ashtarak-Eghvard Highway Leaves 6 Injured

Today, July 4, an automobile accident occurred in the Aragatsotn province. At approximately 14:30, two cars, a Toyota Camry and a Toyota Corolla, collided at the 1st kilometer mark of the Ashtarak-Eghvard highway.

According to reports from the scene by shamshyan.com, six individuals were taken to the 'Ashtarak' medical center with varying degrees of bodily injuries.

The police and the investigative department are currently working to establish the identities of the drivers and the injured parties.

A photojournalist reported that after the collision, the Toyota Corolla veered off the roadway and struck a parked Nissan Tiida, which was in the permissible area of the road. The driver of the Nissan, upon noticing the accident, had stopped and attempted to offer assistance to the drivers and the injured, at which point the Toyota struck his Nissan.
