The Time for Negotiations Between Russia and Ukraine Has Not Come Yet: John Kirby

John Kirby, the Coordinator for Strategic Communications at the National Security Council at the White House, has stated that the time for peace talks between Russia and Ukraine has not yet arrived.

“Right now, the U.S. must continue to support Ukraine, which we are doing. President Volodymyr Zelensky himself must decide when, what, and under what conditions it will mean victory for him. But even Zelensky will tell you that now is not the right time for such discussions, and Russian President Vladimir Putin has shown no particular signs of interest in negotiations,” Kirby stated.

He emphasized that Washington will continue to provide military assistance to Kyiv, which has already exceeded $7 billion from the U.S. alone.
