VIDEO: Footage Released Showing Aftermath of Earthquake in Iran

As previously reported, on July 2 at 01:32 local time (21:32 GMT on July 1), a 6.1 magnitude earthquake was registered by the Seismic Protection Territorial Service of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Iran's Hormozgan Province, 61 km northeast of the city of Bandar Lengeh at a depth of 10 km, with coordinates of 26.87° N latitude and 55.23° E longitude.

The intensity of the underground tremor at the epicentral zone was recorded at 9 degrees. The released footage shows the destruction caused by the earthquake, including devastated homes. Locals are seen clearing the rubble. According to preliminary data, there are 39 reported fatalities.
